How do I know if I’m eligible to receive a vehicle and how do I apply?
You must meet the outlined criteria as noted in the application and on the website, and apply through a non-profit organization (e.g., charity or military association like a Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) post, etc.).
How do I apply?
Recipient sponsors (e.g., non-profit or veteran organization) need to request applications on behalf of those interested in the program. Applications can be requested by sending an email to KeysToProgress@progressive.com.
Are Progressive employees or employees of program affiliates eligible for this program?
Current regular (full-time and part-time) employees, temps, or contractors are not eligible for the program. In addition, household/immediate family members of Progressive employees and employees of Progressive Keys to Progress program affiliates are also ineligible.
Where do I send my completed application and supporting documentation?
Once the application has been completed, it should be submitted via email to KeysToProgress@progressive.com.
When will I know if I've been selected?
We work with veteran-friendly non-profit organizations to help us identify the recipients based on the above-mentioned criteria. All program recipients who are selected to receive a vehicle will be notified by September in each program year.
How many cars do you give away annually?
On average, we gift 50-100 cars a year at various Progressive and Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations across the United States.
Why do you focus on veterans for vehicle donations?
Veterans are special people. They’ve served our country, so we’re doing what we can to pay them back for their service.
I’m a veteran in need of a vehicle. Are there other programs out there like this?
