Consider these coverages:
Protect your Family and Assets
- Bodily Injury and Property Damage: $100k per person/$300k per accident/$100k property damage
This coverage protects you and your assets so you don’t have to pay for damages if you cause an accident. It pays for the other driver’s (and passengers’) medical bills, car damage and even covers legal fees if you’re sued (rare, but it happens).
The first number is the maximum paid per person for injuries. The second is the max paid for all injuries. And the third is the max paid for property damage.
As your assets grow, you should consider increasing this coverage.
Protect your vehicles
- Collision: $500 deductible
Pays for any damage to your car when you hit, or get hit by, another car or object. After you pay your deductible, we would pay for the rest.
For example, if you have $1,500 worth of damages and a $500 deductible, you would pay $500 for the repairs and we’d cover the rest. The higher your deductible is, the less your insurance policy costs.
- Comprehensive: $500 deductible
Protects your car if its damaged by something other than a collision, such as fire, vandalism, hail or flood. We would pay for the repair costs (after you pay the deductible). We also cover damage caused by hitting an animal and theft (if your car gets stolen).
Keep in mind that the coverages, limits, and deductibles suggested are a starting point for you to consider. You should select coverages at the limits and deductibles sufficient to protect your assets. You’ll get more information when you quote. All coverages subject to policy terms and conditions.
