Progressive insurance reviews

It’s insurance. It is a bet that despite my safe driving no other driver will injure me and my family. I’ll pay $280 a month hoping nothing will happen. And when something does happen hoping that the system is so slipstream running on greased cogs that it will overlook my claim and not become bogged down on the interoffice politics of trying to ring a loop hole not to pay my claims. In theory I could pay upwards $3600 a year for the next 10 years (36,000 assuming rates do not increase) and never need to make a claim. However anything under $500 I have to cover out of pocket. The insurance company will collect much much more then I will ever claim and when I do claim they will try to find a way to not pay, pay the least amount, and then make me pay more for the service. It’s gambling and the house always wins
